Overview and Practice

Erin is a partner with our firm.  Her practice emphasizes toxic tort and product liability defense and business litigation.

She joined our practice when we began preparing for the estimation trial in the Garlock bankruptcy and played a major role in the preparation and presentation of the science evidence, which resulted in the court’s finding Garlock’s liability as “relatively de minimis.” She has since served as expert evidence counsel for defendants in asbestos and cosmetic talc personal injury litigation, and she has extensive experience coordinating the preparation of defense experts, preparing new experts in the litigation, and deposing and preparing cross examinations of nearly every opposing expert.

But Erin’s trial practice has not been limited to product liability defense. She regularly represents clients in business disputes, including representing a distributor against a manufacturer in a successful international arbitration hearing and appeal.

Erin graduated with distinction from The University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2011 where she was named Chief Counsel for the OU Legal Clinic, served on Oklahoma’s first team of licensed legal interns to try a civil rights case before a jury in federal court, and received several awards related to trial practice and legal research and writing. She also was recognized as the 2011 SATJ Outstanding Pro Bono Service Graduate and was inducted into the Order of the Solicitors.

Erin graduated magna cum laude from The University of North Texas in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in Spanish.
