Susan Ashmore

Overview and Practice

Susan has worked with the firm on the asbestos litigation since the mid-2000s. During the Garlock trials she deposed fact witnesses, analyzed exposure testimony and medical records, and prepared the trial graphics. In the Garlock estimation proceeding she conducted the privilege review and helped brief the scientific issues. Her estimation work continues with Bestwall.

She handles the discovery disputes, e-discovery, and document productions in the firm’s asbestos and commercial cases.

Background

Susan received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2005, where she was named Chief Justice of the SMU Civil Legal Clinic and competed on the National Trial Competition mock trial team. She received her B.S. from the University of Texas at Dallas.
