Laurie is a partner with our firm. Her practice is diverse, emphasizing product liability and toxic tort trials and business litigation. She has been part of the trial team in product liability trials in California, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and throughout Texas. Most recently, she has focused on effectively presenting scientific evidence in the cosmetic talc and asbestos litigation. She is a co-author of an article entitled “Winning with Epidemiology” published in For The Defense, the monthly magazine for the Defense Research Institute.
Laurie is also experienced in securities arbitration. She has been recognized as a Rising Star in securities litigation by Texas Super Lawyers®, a Thomson Reuters listing, in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Laurie received her Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University in 1999, where she received the Dean’s Academic Merit Award. She received her Bachelor of Arts (English) degree from The University of Texas in 1996.
